TableCheck reaches significant milestone: Now serving 10,000 clients
The TableCheck restaurant booking and guest experience platform is used by restaurants and hotel properties in 35 countries and regions
TableCheck, a leading table management system, is proud to announce a major milestone since the company launched in October 2013. As of the end of May 2024, TableCheck now serves 10,000 restaurants worldwide, spread across 35 countries and regions worldwide. Overseas outlets have grown to approximately 15% and the company continues to expand its international presence in Southeast Asia and the Middle East including global markets like China and India.
This achievement underscores TableCheck’s steady growth and commitment to revolutionizing the food and beverage industry.
TableCheck’s mission is to create a world of extraordinary dining experiences by developing services that bridge restaurants with guests.
Expanding customer base in Japan through partnerships
TableCheck has consistently maintained a high retention rate of 99.6% for the number of restaurants using our system with monthly reservations exceeding 3 million. Through collaboration with partner companies in Japan and overseas, many international visitors who come to Japan can enjoy exceptional dining experiences.
In addition, our data clearly shows a shift in restaurant reservations from ‘telephone’ to ‘online reservations’. Online bookings made through owned media (official website) provided by TableCheck – which allows a direct connection with customers – have doubled since 2017, as opposed to bookings made through OTA that charge extra fees per reservation to restaurants.
TableCheck FastPass: Advancing dynamic pricing in the food and beverage industry
Launched in February 2024, TableCheck FastPass is a fee-based priority guidance service for restaurants. By paying a fee, guests can secure restaurant reservations at popular restaurants on their preferred date and time without the usual wait.
There are currently 26 popular restaurants in Japan that have introduced the service. When the service was first introduced from November 2023 to 31 May 2024, about 35,000 guests availed of TableCheck Fastpass. The service allows international visitors to Japan with limited time, to enjoy the best dining experiences in Japan and book restaurants that normally have long queues. More than 20% of current reservations using TableCheck FastPass come from international visitors. TableCheck aims to introduce the system in 300 popular restaurants around the country in different business categories.
